How to buy a product?

All items featured in Watchcelona’s shop can be purchased.

The watches featured on Watchcelona’s on-line shop are grouped into different categories: analog watches, digital watches and special editions.

You can also find any of the products in the catalog by using the search engine.

The descriptions that appear next to every featured product can help you make your choice.

What are the steps to buy a watch on-line?

If it is your first on-line purchase, you must register in order to have access. Next time you wish to purchase a watch on the Watchcelona website, you have to access your account with the contact details you previously provided.

The first step consists of selecting the watch models you want to buy. Once you have selected them, you have to log into your personal account.

For the third step you need to confirm the address where you want your order to be delivered and choose the transport system you prefer.

The purchasing process finishes when you formalize your order and pay via PayPal. The Paypal bank acts as an intermediary between the client and Watchcelona and payment is effected as soon as you send an email to shop@watchcelona.com

Also, your shopping cart gives you the option of:

Deleting any product you have selected (“Delete”)

You can always check what you have bought by clicking on “My account”.

What are the advantages of buying online?

Buying through Watchcelona’s on-line shop is more convenient than buying in a conventional shop for several reasons:

  1. Convenience: you can buy from home, with no time limits.
  2. The catalog is more comprehensive than in any traditional establishment.
  3. After-sales service: we strive to make our after-sales service as optimal as possible to make up for the lack of direct contact with the client.

Many internet users are reluctant to provide their personal data and credit card numbers on-line for fear of improper use of said data, such as ID theft by non-authorized third parties.

Logically, IT companies have become aware of this problem and have developed a safety system that guarantees confidential data transfer.

How much are the products and shipping costs?

For your information, all prices appear on Watchcelona’s website.

Our prices are just by the picture of each product and by just clicking on “buy”, you place a product into your cart. When you enter your zip code, the shipping price is automatically calculated. So, you can view the total amount before actually formalizing your order.

What is the delivery time?

If you live in Spain, the order will be shipped to any part of the peninsula through Envialia in 24 hours. If you are in the Balearic or Canary islands, the delivery time is 48 hours.

For the rest of European countries, you can choose from the following rates:

DHL Air Worldwide Express: express transport by plane. Stock products will be delivered to you in approximately 2 working days.

If you live outside Europe, we ship your order through:

DHL Air Worldwide Express: express transport by plane. Stock products will be delivered to you in approximately 4 working days.

Should I be home when the order is delivered?

Yes, someone must be home to receive the order.

What happens if there is no one home when the order is delivered?

The delivery man will leave a notification and will try to deliver your order again on the following day.

After this time, if your order could not be delivered, the package will be sent back to us. In this case, we will refund the money for the product to the client, but not the shipping costs.

Can I ask my order to be delivered at a specific time?

DHL workers have a fixed route and it is impossible to change it.

Can my delivery address be different from the address that appears in my order?

Yes, it is possible. Yet, to comply with customs rules, the order must be under the name and address of the addressee and must be paid with the local currency for the country where the goods are to be delivered. ALL INFORMATION REQUIRED FOR THE PURCHASING PROCESS MUST CORRESPOND TO THAT OF THE ADDRESSEE. On the other hand, we need your confirmation as well as the address of your credit card and phone number.

Can I cancel an order that has already left Watchcelona’s offices?

No, this is not possible. When an order has left our offices to be delivered to a client, we cannot possibly cancel the delivery. Our haulage contractors collect our clients' orders at noon (12 am Central European Time). All orders received before that will be shipped and there is no way to cancel them. If a client wishes to cancel an order after it has been shipped, we refund the money for the product, but not the shipping amount.

IMPORTANT/ SHIPPING RESTRICTIONS: We are sorry, but we cannot deliver orders in military areas (A.P.O.) or to P.O. boxes. Our haulage contractors need a physical address and a phone number in order to deliver your order. They need a signature for the reception of the order to be correct.

Do I have to pay Spanish VAT (Value Added Tax)?

If you live in the EEC, yes, you need to pay Spanish VAT. All prices include VAT, but we can deduct this amount from the total amount provided that the order is delivered in VAT exempt areas. If this is the case, you need to inform us by going to the section called “any comments or special requirements?” when you place your order.

If you live outside the EEC, prices do not include VAT.

Are there any extra shipping fees that do not appear in the website?

No, the only shipping fee you must pay appears in our website’s shopping cart.

Will I have to pay something when my order is delivered?

If you live in the EEC, you will not need to pay anything when your order is delivered. The price that appears in your shopping cart already includes shipping fees and taxes, except VAT exempt areas such as the Canary Islands, etc.

Some countries apply an extra charge to orders that are over a certain amount. For example, Australia adds extra charges to orders over 1,000 Australian dollars, Turkey, to orders over 300 euros, and Venezuela, to orders over 100 USD.

We know from experience that, for countries such as Turkey, Venezuela, Russia and Mexico, it is more convenient to place orders of small value separately, and have them shipped to the same address and addressee if you wish, but in different delivery dates. Even though shipping fees will be higher in this case, you save the money you would otherwise pay for custom duties.

ATTENTION: Custom duties and rules vary depending on the country and it is difficult to know exactly how they work. This is why we recommend you to call the local chamber of commerce for detailed information. You just need to tell them you wish to import scuba diving material from the EEC.

IMPORTANT/ CUSTOMS: By law, the original invoice must go with the package to declare at customs. Under no circumstances can we reduce the total amount of your order in the invoice.

DISCLAIMER: Watchcelona charges its invoices in euros. If the order is from outside the EEU, we convert the amount to other currencies according to the exchange rates in force at the moment of issuing the invoice. Exchange rates may change during the period of time between the moment in which Watchcelona issues the invoice and the moment in which the bank collects the invoice amount from our client’s bank accounts. This small difference may sometimes benefit clients, and other times it may be disadvantageous for them, but Wacthcelona cannot control this. As this difference in the total amounts depends on the banks, Wactchcelona does not accept any responsibility regarding this matter.

What do I have to do to return a product?

You have 7 days after the delivery date to return an unused product and change it for another product or get your money back.

Wacthcelona will meet the expenses of returning a product and shipping a new one. We repair or change the product immediately provided that:

  1. The product is faulty or has been damaged during the shipping.
  2. We have shipped you the wrong product (we are sorry in advance!)

WARNING: Watchcelona will not pay any expenses for returning a product if the case is different from any of the two stated above.

What you need to do to return a product is the following:

  1. Contact us before returning any product. This is very important if you want to avoid paying import/export charges.
  2. You can send the product back to us once you have received an email with an authorization number for returning a product. Besides this authorization number, we will also email you the address and all the documentation you need to send the product. Please make the package as small as possible, as our haulage contractors charge us according to package weight and volume. Thus, you will help us reduce shipping fees.
  3. Please remember to send the complete product inside its original packaging and with all its documentation.

WARNING: All charges derived from returning the product before contacting Watchcelona or receiving the authorization number, or from not having used the given documents, will be deducted from the debt Watchcelona has with the client. Watchcelona will not pay any expenses caused by the client if the client does not comply with our requirements for returning a product.

What happens if there are problems with the guarantee?

Should there be problems with a product’s guarantee, simply email us and we will arrange to pick up your product to repair it or change it as soon as possible.
